ABOUT ROSANNAH

Hi there, I'm Rosannah or Shoshana if you really like…

I came to Israel 2 years ago following my heart. I opened Pluto Yoga studio with the dream to create a space for our beautiful community for us to come together, practice together and transform ourselves and the world around us. Pluto landed from outer space and it seems to fit in on earth well. I invite you to come and visit and experience a range of Yoga styles, with our beautiful teachers and intimate atmosphere.

KUNDALINI YOGA

Kundalini Yoga otherwise known as the Yoga of awareness, is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul. Using specific techniques that combine breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purifiy the blood. It brings balance to the body, mind, and soul. Kundalini Yoga is a yoga for householders, for people who have to cope with the daily challenges and stresses of holding jobs, raising families, and managing businesses. It is a path for everyone who wants the skills to cope successfully with the challenges of our times

HATHA YOGA

A slow, meditative practice suitable for beginners and all levels of practitioners as well as pregnant women who used to practice yoga

Hatha Yoga is a slower practice designed to introduce students to the subtle-energetic aspects of traditional Yoga Poses. In Hatha Yoga props are used to support the body in a handful of poses held for a longer period then other practices such as Vinyasa and Ashtanga. Sometimes incorporating principles of yoga therapy and yoga philosophy in a Hatha class we are training the body and mind to rest in stillness in preparation for pranayama and meditation

ASHTANGA YOGA

The Ashtanga method is one of the most popular and powerful practices in the modern age of yoga.
 Guruji Pathabi Jois and his Guruji Tirumalai Krishnamacharya sequenced together six Intelligent flows starting with the basic series and progressing to more and more advanced series, each one of them designed to slowly lead the practitioner into the depth of the body and mind, 
changing the alchemy of our consciousness by repetitive practice. After a while the body knows where to go it becomes a mantra we are chanting with our bodies, Movement synced with "Ujjay" breathing technic and "Drishti" (gaze point) – all combined into a powerful moving meditation

IYENGAR YOGA

A meditative, precise practice. Suitable for beginners, surfers and people who are working with an injury

Iyengar yoga is the creation of B.K.S. Iyengar,  it is characterised by detailed, precise alignment, long holds and use of props. In Iyengar you may be asked to use a prop to deepen your understanding of a posture or to help with a certain shape, action or direction. Each class follows a theme, one week you might focus on standing postures, another inversions and the next building strength. Anatomy and physical alignment are also a big focus in each class, Iyengar requires teachers to have extensive technical anatomical knowledge. In each Iyengar class you’ll receive highly individualised teaching, according to your own mental and physical ability

VINYASA YOGA

An energising practice with music that is suitable for all levels, especially those who like to be challenged and delve into the spiritual teachings

Each Vinyasa class is designed to progressively open the body, building upon previous postures, evolving into deeper, more advanced postures as the practice unfolds. It is a method of practicing asana (physical poses), where the poses are taught in a sequence, flowing from one to the next. The practice focuses on aligning one’s breath and spiritual intention with each movement.  It is a fully balanced class that not only includes asana practice, chanting and intention setting but uses the power of music to add to the experience. Vinyasa can be practiced at any level, different options will be given to suit different flexibility and bodies
